New update

In the last days, I worked on a lot of code features, which aren’t really visible. So there was nothing to post. But today I finalized the first version of season changes. You can now see, when winter arrives which gives a lot of more visual feedback than just starring on the date label.

Other features

  • We now have nobles, that don’t have to work because they have enough possessions. They have a higher status than other folks. For example warriors are well respected, peasants on the other hand are low, but still they are free man. The lowest in the hierarchy are slaves or unfree men. They can be prisoners from raids or battles, but also residents, who disrespected the law or lost all their possessions.
  • I worked a lot on the food system. Food can now expire, therefore it is not wise to produce as much as possible. Throughout the year the residents recieve food from the animals (you can slaughter them, but more important: get their milk or eggs). But their is also the harvest. Most important the barley harvest because the crops can be held for a long time and bring the residents over the winter. But there is also vegetables.
  • The residents are more happy and healthy, if they eat enough rations of different food. There is grain food, animal food (like milk or meat) and also vegetables. The best nutrition status is, when they recieve all kinds of food one day.
  • I implemented a isometric version of the unit. You can already see in in the docs.
