Creating avatars for the pilot game

Based on the layer system, I created a german pilot from the First World War. This time, I tried an approach that gives the avatar a little bit more dimensional space without increasing the complexity.

I took some assets from a picture library and used the avatar I got there as a base. I tried to group the parts like the nose, the eyes etc. and played around with the sizes. I am very happy with the results. They look more alive than the front shots like in this post, where I created my first avatars.
